Google Classroom Resources : a guided elearning course  for adult learners

TOOL(S) USED : G-Suite, Canva, Survey Assessment

ROLE : Instructional Designer, Graphic Designer, Facilitator, Writer

PROBLEM : The client was having issues with utilizing a pre-existing educational platform to analyze usage and progress data for a school. The current climate of the platform is that teachers were using it to post announcements about homework and assessments.

SOLUTION : It was determined after conversations and a needs analysis, teachers needed to be privy to the benefits and possibilities provided via G-suite and the plans moving forward around data collection & monitoring student usage. Using an instructor-led course that can be completed at leisure, teachers and leaders will be able to return to the resource as needed.

The course that was designed, walked subject matter experts through three resources for collaborative notes, group work, and assessments. Understanding the needs of the clients (teachers and leadership), it was best to construct an instructor-led course; noting that, all information was not provided on the slides of the course.

This course was very effective to stakeholders. Not only was it informational, it was engaging as well. The feedback and needs analysis helped tackle their concerns and allowed them to utilize a pre-existing resource for all levels of expertise.

The client wanted the ability to share content on multiple platforms for accessibility. I made the course adaptable for email, teachers' G-suite, & company website.
